Beautiful and delicate comes to mind when looking at antiquated letters. The deliberate strokes from the dip pen make the words even more enchanting.

The idea of Sepia Jewels first surfaced when a Victorian poem journal was given to me. Each page was adorned with amazing handwritten script that sparked my appreciation of writing. I immediately thought of small jewels that would be accented by this historical past time.

The Sarah McCleery Necklace
This particular piece was experimental. I wanted to layer different vintage materials of an antique crocheted flower accented with a mother of pearl button on a Victorian handwritten script.

I felt that the design was strong and will pave the way for more similar designs.

Among the Victorian handwritten letters, I also wanted to include pieces that would accent the theme of writing.

Vintage European Stamps were upcycled to whimsical adornments accented by Czech glass beads that have been fire polished in opalescent hues.
